Spruce Woods Park Centre Planned By Government and Friends
The Department of Natural Resources with the Friends of Spruce Woods will build a new park centre at Spruce Woods Provincial Park 100 kilometres southeast of Brandon. Construction starts fall 1995 with about 800000 in funding, over three years, including 400000+ from Manitoba. The centre will interpret natural and cultural history and host environmental education with displays, a bookshop, and spaces for events.
