Oakburn drives Easter Seals appeal aid for Shaun
Generous Oakburn residents support the 2001 Easter Seals drive to April 16. Nine year old Shaun, diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy, benefits from SMD programs across Manitoba and local club funding aiding travel and hospital costs. The Oakburn Lions Club presented a 1260 cheque to Shaun and his mother Kim to assist medical expenses and transport for surgery at the Children’s Hospital in Winnipeg.
