Spring Recreation Guide Highlights Local Activities
Slippery streets urge caution as spring arrives. Rossburn area hosts badminton, broomball, recreation hockey and knitting with Johanna Collingridge. Fitness classes run Tuesdays and Thursdays with several date exceptions. Winnie Kerfoot starts March 21 with registration. April 2 begins a six week regular session. A cross country ski poker derby at Rossman Lake on March 10 costs $5 and covers about five miles with rest points. Recreation basketball, badminton Wednesdays at the Elementary, and CPR and First Aid courses are listed. Parkland region hosts a May 11 fundraising workshop in Dauphin for Lions and service groups.
