Crown land taxes and drainage topics at R.M. Rossburn meeting
R M residents discussed rising Crown land taxes and sought council support to reduce assessments. Beaver issues on Crown lands were raised and a meeting with Crown land lessees and Department of Rural Development representatives was deemed beneficial. Attendees also addressed Birdtail Creek drainage between sections 1 and 12 21 25W and agreed culvert removal would improve pasture drainage.
