Power Up teaches Manitoba women computer basics in Rossburn
The free program spans 15 hours with instructor Roz Pullo from Russell, broken into four or five sessions. A workbook and tutorial disk allow self paced learning. Seventeen women take the Rossburn Elementary School class with more awaiting spots. The Recreation Commission sponsors and plans another fall session.

The Rossburn Collegiate held its annual Awards Day on June 15 delivering academic and sport honors. Medallions went to Kimberly Drul and Mike Magnus with Scholastic Achievement distinctions. Honor Roll certificates recognized students with 80 percent or higher averages. Sports top male athlete of the year was Myles Hrubeniuk.
