Reminiscenes of Rossburn Pioneers

The memoirs recount the Cormack and Sinclair families arrival in Rossburn in the 1890s and 1900s. George Cormack born in Scotland in 1844 and his descendants, including sons Ben, George, Alex, and daughter Elizabeth, settled on homesteads, faced hardships from mosquitoes to winters, built homes, and contributed to local church and community. The narrative notes marriages, moves, and the eventual spread of family members to Shoal Lake, Winnipeg, and beyond.
