Wellness Week at Rossburn Collegiate Highlights Safety

Safety takes center stage during Wellness Week at Rossburn Collegiate from May 8 to May 12. The schedule featured nutrition breaks with fruit and juice donations, presentations on teen motor vehicle accidents, and farm safety via videos and talks by Red Cross and Ag reps. A student volunteer endured a spine board demonstration, while participants stressed ongoing wellness beyond the week.

MRHA discusses BRHA redevelopment and board actions

At the MRHA regular meeting Helga Bryant and Val Karton outlined the BRHA redevelopment project at Brandon Regional Health Centre. The board approved the 2001/2002 Health Plan submission, authorized architect selection for Neepawa Personal Care Home, and reappointed Ken Hermiston as Vice-Chair. Transfers, committees, and budget balancing were reviewed with a June 28 meeting set in Shoal Lake.
