Rossburn Scout Camporee At Rossman Lake
A large turnout of 225 Scouts and Scouters attended the Rossburn Camporee at Rossman Lake Manitoba May 19 to 22. Activities included forest fire demos archery canoeing and a sky liner rope ride with a 400 visitor backdrop. Minnedosa 240 points won the A ribbon with Bredenbury 229 and Rossburn 224 follows.

Balloons Reach Rossburn From San Gabriel Class
A San Gabriel Grade 3 class sent 500 helium balloons on October 29, 1971. One balloon found on the John Deck farm north of Rossburn traveled the farthest, prompting letters from 11 students and a furthest distance contest that ended without a winner due to elapsed time.
