Cousins Gather to Visit Whyman Homesteads in Manitoba Reunion
A cousin reunion Sunday July 11 at Mrs. Elvie Cameron home in Rossburn drew 48 attendees, descendants of Henry and Janet Whyman. The group toured nearby homesteads of the Bennetts and Cunninghams and noted remaining maple trees at the original sites. Henry Whyman died 1903 and Janet in 1919.

Graduation exercises for Pelly Trail School Division No. 37 were held at Rossburn Collegiate Auditorium on June 30, 1976, with about 450 in attendance. Master of Ceremonies Doug MacIsaac and speakers urged continued education as diplomas were handed out alongside numerous bursaries and awards.
