Parkland Homecoming 79 drew a large crowd despite cool showers on July 14 at Menzie Man for a historic tour of local sites from Horod to St. Peter and Paul church near Rossburn. The Sutcliffe family reunion followed on July 1 at the Jack Miller farm in Vista with many families and a pot luck supper. Alexander's Pharmacy opens in Rossburn this month operated by Jim Alexander who also owns a Minnedosa pharmacy. He bought Minnedosa's business Jan 1 1961 and previously worked eight years as a medical rep. Mrs Alexander runs a floral boutique in the same building. The Romans: former Herchak's Store location now houses the new business with living quarters above.
