Beaver control program extended near Riding Mountain Park
The beaver damage control program will continue this year to cut flood damage around Riding Mountain National Park. Officials Charles Caccia and Al Mackling announced cost sharing for a three year 180000 dollar program now in its final year. A designated control zone spans 8 to 19 kilometres around the park. Additional part time staff will be hired to trap beavers and remove dams. Numbering of lots and houses approved by Rossburn council
The Rossburn Village council met June 26 1984 with Mayor Louis Kurchaba presiding. By law 668 receiving its third reading and passing authorizes numbering of lots and houses along highways in the village.
