Wagons Trek on Trans Canada Trail in Manitoba

The Rossburn Subdivision Trail along the Trans Canada Trail hosted Relay 2000 on June 21 with 24 travelers and 12 horse drawn wagons. Eleven more wagons from Erickson Herod Grandview Amaranth and McCreary joined a second June 24 trek. The riders averaged two and a half mph over nine hours daily, arriving in Rossburn in rain and leaving for home under clear skies.
