Rossburn Summer Festival highlights July long weekend
The Rossburn Summer Festival featured a pancake breakfast on Friday at the Community Hall, a Main Street parade with 18 entries, and events at the Agri Rec Complex including gymkhana, chariot, chuck wagon and horse races. Kids enjoyed a petting zoo, midway, and a tractor pull, with Ruth Oudie winning a $1,000 bingo jackpot and many other prize winners. A new Manitoba Wool Show with sheep shearing demonstrations drew attendees, making this year’s festival broad and popular.
