Seniors Olympics Bring Fun to Rossburn Recreation
The Rossburn Recreation Commission held a week long Seniors Olympics with events such as lawn darts horseshoes shuffleboard carpet bowling bean bag throw wall darts lawn bowling a mystery game and a bingo. Denise Trakalo recreation director and summer student Kim Grudeski organized the activities. Winners to be listed in next week's Recreation Report.

Westman launches Operation Public Alert PAL program
Westman Communications Group announces Operation Public Alert PAL a community based crime prevention and citizen aid effort. Manitoba Community Places Program funds upgrades and jobs
The Manitoba government via the Community Places Program will invest more than 7.5 million over the next year creating up to 1000 construction jobs. A total of 237 projects share 2.5 million in grants including upgrades at Rossman Lake Youth Camp and facilities in Shoal Lake, Miniota and Rossburn with grants up to 50 percent of project costs.
