Mr and Mrs W J Ninn and Alice motored to Ashville and back bringing Miss Velma Rinn who has taught at Mineral Creek School.

Nick Verbowski with sons and Mr Anton Macychon drove to Wog last week. Glen Elmo school closed for summer. teacher Ina Lindsay returned home. Tractors failing in low-lying areas. Harry Werbowski and eight men spent four hours to free a stuck tractor.
Mr Henry Miller made a business trip to Brandon. Mr and Mrs Tom Sinclair and family attended the Brandon Fair. Mrs Wm Pidlubny visits Winnipeg and Vita. Mr Sterling Veith and Miss Eunice Joiner motored to Winnipeg. Mr and Mrs Couglin and family holidayed in Virden. Mrs Gordon Plant and Mrs Jon Plant with Miss Helen Smith visited Winnipeg. Miss Dorothy Miller left for summer school. A birthday tea for Ladies Aid on July 8 at Mrs Sam Crookshanks. A fishing party and a party for Cedric Crookshanks honeymoon visit. A surprise party for Cedric Crookshanks and bride. A kitchen tin band parade closes the evening.

Attendees at the Brandon Exhibition included Mr and Mrs Sinclair Sharon Mr and Mrs Melntyre and Ritchie Mr and Mrs Hl Ham and Mrs Hay Margaret Connie Hay Mrs J Hamilton Valetta and others.
