Rossburn councillor named chair of ACRE board
Rossburn councillor Bill Galloway, a Benito area grain farmer, is appointed chair of the new Association for a Clean Rural Environment board. Environment Minister Glen Cummings notes the board met in Portage la Prairie on Jan 17 and began planning a container disposal program for agricultural chemicals. The board includes Ed Peltz, Ken Caldwell, Duncan Broadfoot, Ray Krahn, Kathleen Swanson, Barry Todd, Ken Plews, and William de Bakker as secretary.
