Referees School Set at Rossburn Arena This Saturday
A refereeing and covering school will be held at Rossburn Memorial Arena on Saturday, January 24 starting at 2:00 p.m. Monty Montgomery leads the session under the M.A.H.A. with Don Kerr of Cardale arranging. Rossburn C.G.I.T. Holds Regular Meeting With 16 Members
The 15th CGIT meeting met in the annex with 16 members present. Penny McKnight chaired as vice president. The group approved buying 10 chime records and 12 hymn books for the church service year. They will join the March of Dimes campaign with door to door canvassing. Christian Youth Week runs January 25 to February 1, and the group planned a window decoration and singing their hymn Sunday night. Four groups studied community based mission topics and discussed neighborliness from Luke and John. The session closed with prayer led by Myrna Smye niuk and Taps.
