CAP site upgrades equipment at Rossburn library
The Community Access Program site in the Rossburn Regional Library upgrades its Internet setup with help from Industry Canada Western Diversification and others. Twenty CAP sites will be upgraded enabling intersite and worldwide access. Wayne Crafford coordinated the setup with Community Futures and system managers. Bert Swann notes possible year end and potential small user fee.

Rossburn RM council approves by laws and 1999 fees
The Rural Municipality of Rossburn council passed third readings for by laws on tax cancellations and 1999 council remuneration and borrowing to cover operating costs. First and second readings were given to by laws on the 1999 financial plan specialized tax for reserve funds and machinery replacement. The panel ordered three phase power for Vista tank loading well and single phase for Olha well. 1999 memberships and donations to several local and regional organizations were listed along with new patrol and snow plow rates and service charges for intermunicipal and government work. A policy requires prepayment by non property owners with seven percent GST added.

Missionary Max Solbrekken to Lead Local Gospel Crusade
