Beavers and Canada Nonsense in a Metric Mischief
A satirical column rails at US beaver requests and Canadian quirks. It jokes about a Beaver Co operative of Mississippi seeking beavers, nods to Pierre Trudeau and Gordon Lightfoot, mocks the metric system, and quips about Canada’s largest cities and civil servants. The tone is playful, offering snarky takes on national myths and trivia.
