Rev M E Hutchison appeared as guest speaker at the Pentecostal Church with Mr and Mrs David Hutchison also present as special guests. Mrs Hutchison founded and leads the Bethel Home for Girls in Toronto, coordinating with the Public Welfare Department for twenty five years to provide charity care and shelter for unfortunates and unwed mothers seeking guidance and new living skills.

Strathclair Falls 10-3 At Rossburn In Hockey Tilt
On Wednesday January 6 Strathclair traveled to Rossburn for a hockey game. Rossburn led 3-1 at the end of the second period and exploded with seven goals in the third to win 10-3. Joe Dutkiewicz scored three times for Rossburn with Doug Wong, Heindle and others adding goals. Strathclair’s Don Stitt left with an eye cut. Jack Miller finished in net. Morley Brown and Bob Young officiated.
