Rossburn rail line to be upgraded to 2000 network
Rossburn subdivision from Neepawa west to Russell about 92 miles will be added to the basic rail network and upgraded to carry hopper cars through the year 2000. The plan includes a CP CN link in Franklin and advisory committees with elevator and railway reps to set upgrade priorities. Manitoba MPs credit rail-retention groups and provincial support for saving the lines.
