About 250 fans watched Rossburn girls defeat Russell 2 to 1 last Sunday in a fast rough contest. Donna Walmsley scored both Rossburn goals with Nancy Stanley tallying Russell’s lone score. Valerie Wilson of Russell drew a penalty. Spectators praised the exciting hometown matchup.

The meeting approved minutes adopted the January financial report agreed to a March 4 special meeting with Manitoba Dairy and Poultry Co operative Limited joined Parkland Regional Development Corporation and paid organizational fee. A fifty four percent assessment rise led to a one half mill levy to support Shoal Lake Hospital District No. 7 deficit and Douglas Joiner was approved for course expenses and a wage raise. The council granted 100 to the Rossburn Chamber of Commerce and planned Manitoba Growing To Beat 70 activities with Lions and RM Rossburn support. bills were paid and next meeting set for March 19 1968.
