Village Council Approves 1977 Remuneration By-Laws
The Rossburn council met February 8 1977 approving remuneration for hospital board members 7.50 per regular meeting and 30.00 per day for out of town duties. They also adopted plans for a Community Health Centre, authorized staff to register building sites, and set attendance for the Manitoba Water School 1977. They suspended sections for by-law readings, passed by-laws 524 and 525, adopted the 1976 financial statement, approved the 1977 Rossburn Regional Library budget, and proposed a 50 percent supplement to ministerial order 425 for drainage on 3rd Street. Donations to four groups were approved and Sandra Shtykalo appointed to the hospital board. An ambulance grant is to be allocated to the local committee, legal services retained, and March 10 set for the next meeting.
