In an exhibition game Rossburn High School edged Virden High School 4 to 3. Goalie Ian Chipelski stood out as Rossburn stormed back from a 2-0 deficit with goals by Scott Sidoryk Dwayne Gerelus Jason Burtnick and Scott Kostecki.
The council of the R.M. of Rossburn approves the Rossburn Planning District budget of 7000 dollars with a 3500 dollar share, the Rossburn Regional Library budget of 20050 dollars with a 6500 dollar share, and the Rossburn and District Fire Department budget of 22800 dollars with a 14250 dollar share. It passes by laws 1261 to 1265 and sets indemnity rates for the 1992 hospital board, authorizes a 20000 dollar transfer to a machinery reserve, grants lane exemptions for certain private lanes, and refunds 1992 business license fees. It approves a draft agreement with Walter Michasin, building permits for Jim Saley, and authorizes council attendance at several meetings. Accounts show general 10291.50 and payroll 4275.18 with higher totals in other lines.
