Decreased Attendance Threatens Congregate Meals Plan
Community notices warn that low turnout may end the Kopper Kettle congregate meals. February menus include Ceilidh Bakery on the 15th, Choy's Cafe on the 20th, and Heart Smart Lunch on the 21st at the Drop-In Centre. A Valentine Bazaar runs 11 to 3 at Rossburn Community Hall with lunch, crafts, a Chinese auction, and family activities. A Heart Smart Luncheon is planned Feb 21, and residents are advised to beware of a rogue snow removal contractor Albern Contracting, with owner Chris Novak of Winnipeg, amid Heart Month education. Catherine Larocque remains the Rossburn Service for Seniors coordinator.
