Women's Meeting Highlights by 4H Girls

The 4H group featured Carol Gurnick on General Conservation and Cheryl Scarrow on Conservation of Wild Flowers. Gwen Veitch and Janieth Johnston demonstrated hair and scalp care plus healthy fruits and vegetables. Donations for crippled children total $63.53 with a reminder to still contribute at the Post Office or with Mrs. McKnight.

The Ladies Auxiliary to Canadian Legion Branch 184 met with 14 members at Mrs. Steve Rystephanuk’s home. Mrs. Russell Bugera elected Warden. January charity visit to Sandy Lake Home for the Aged by three members. Plans for the Annual Bonspiel, light lunches, and a raffle won by Gloria Lewandosky. A silver baby cup presented to Mrs. Peter Kolinsky for Brenda. March meeting at Mrs. John Derhak’s. A Parish Hall Bingo on Feb 15 with 75 cents for 20 games. Ukrainian Catholic Women’s League event on Feb 12 8 p.m. Talent Night at Rossburn Town Hall Feb 8 entries by phone, prizes, dance afterward. Concerts and dances with varied admissions. Everyone welcome.
