Agri-Rec Centre launches 93 pledge drive and project plans
The Agri-Rec Centre committee kicks off the 93 Pledge Campaign to collect outstanding pledges and fund building improvements. Louis and Phyllis Kurchaba presented their pledge to committee chair Avis Stitt as volunteers are asked to help for an hour to a week. Donors from 1989-90 including individuals and groups are thanked as doors, hydro service, plumbing and interior work are planned with volunteer labor.

Manitoba Autopac renewals mail to 750000 drivers
The Manitoba Public Insurance Corporation mailed nearly 750 000 Autopac renewal notices. About 3 percent face premium increases of 9.5 to 14.5 percent, 42 percent see changes under 9.5 percent, and five percent rise over 14.5 percent. Eligible drivers may receive Merit Discount up to 25 percent.
