Funeral Rites For Archie Cameron
Archie Martin Cameron died December 12 at Winnipeg General Hospital following a severe accident on November 15 three miles northwest of Kelloe. Born June 10 1905 in Rossburn he farmed on his father’s homestead and belonged to Ekford Presbyterian Church. Survived by wife Elvie two brothers Mike Winnipeg and John Rossburn four sisters Rosie Florence Jean Nellie. Funeral held December 15 at Ekford Presbyterian Church with Rev. Jackson organist Mrs James Sherritt soloist and pallbearers Peter Isaac McArthur Norman Locke Bill Taylor Bill Mitchell Dave. Ron Kowalchuk’s Funeral Home of Shoal Lake arranged.

Santa Comes To Small Fry Land In A Christmas Verse
A light verse describes Santa Claus delivering toys on Christmas Eve. Reindeer dash through snow as Santa climbs down chimneys and fills stockings beneath the tree while children are tucked in bed awaiting morning joy. The poem ends with a signature initials E.H.LH.

Christmas Break at Rossburn School Opens January 4 1960
Notes report students begin Christmas holidays on December 23 with a 3 pm card and gift exchange. School resumes January 4 1960. A Red Cross candy sale on December 18 raised funds though not all contributed. Christmas wishes close the item.
