Farm Home and Contents Destroyed by Fire
The farm home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Carson and family south of Rossburn was destroyed by fire on Sunday afternoon December 15. The blaze started from an overheated stove flame and was worsened by a strong west wind. No insurance was carried on building or contents. A meeting will be held Wednesday evening at 9 to organize a committee to aid the Carson family financially and otherwise.

Relatives gathered Monday December 17 at Mrs. Mary Armstrongs home to mark her 92nd birthday with best wishes. Telegrams gifts and cards arrived from U S A Ontario B C and Manitoba. Out of town guests included Mr and Mrs Alton Cowan and Joan of Angusville. Mrs Armstrong remains in good health able to walk downtown for errands. Family ladies served a light lunch.
