Oakburn 4-H Club set April 17 for Achievement Day and Jan 17 for speeches with a Christmas tree lighting fundraiser. Manitoba Hydro seeks two annual rate increases totaling about four percent over two years, plus a five percent cut in street lighting, to lift 1996/97 and 1997/98 revenues and improve the utility's debt and equity position.
