Persistence pays off for the Hornets

Rossburn Hornets tie Shoal Lake Eagles 7 7 on a 21 second left goal by Don Jackson in the league opener. Kevin Hedley and Brad Lonsberry scored twice for Rossburn with Dan Jackson assisting three goals. Shoal Lake led 6 4 after forty minutes and had two power play goals plus a short handed marker. Goaltenders Daryl McCharles and Dan Jackson starred. The match penalty went to Grant Lazaruk. Next game vs St Lazare postponed. league schedules pending.

Four suspensions handed down in North Central Hockey League
