Parkway Co op purchases the Southside Esso building and business after 33½ years in the Esso trade. Mike Hersack retires, selling to Parkway Co op. The co op took over Nov 30, with plans to renovate the location and continue operations. Larry Mills notes the change reflects its long community presence and prior bulk fuel and farm supply ventures.
