Rossburn Council Approves 1982 By Laws and Permit

The Rossburn Village Council met April 7 1982 approving minutes and readings for By-Laws 624 625 and 626. They granted a building permit for Ila Rhea Robillard and praised local hockey and youth teams. Total payments authorized amounted to 52233.50 with adjournment to April 21 1982.

Pelly Trail School Board Meets to Address Fees and Plans

Regular meeting of the Pelly Trail School Board with eight trustees and four staff heard reports from the Superintendent and coordinators. Items included selling surplus windows at 5 dollars each, a Grade 9 outdoor trip, class tours of Rocanville Potash Mine, a kindergarten entrance age study, a 100 dollar science fair donation, roof and sun deck plans, Halloween custodial policy, and actions to collect approximately 292 thousand dollars owed by the Waywayseecappo Band. The board authorized attendance at regional meetings and adjourned with the next session set for April 26, 1982.
