The Building Pathways for Lifelong Learning Committee sponsors a Child Fair at Major Pratt School on Wednesday April 25 from 12:00 noon to 7:00 p.m. Targeting parents and caregivers of children birth to five, displays include Child Fund Car Seat Safety Parent-Child Resource Centres and Child Safety with screening for hearing development speech and language and vision for various age ranges.
The Rossburn Lions Club may disband by June 30 after 40 years serving the area. With 14 members and only six active, fundraising and community programs risk shrinking. A membership drive invites locals to join, attend two meetings, and help at events. A vote at an April 19 meeting will decide the fate.
