The Board of Directors with 15 attending heard on senior services and current union negotiations. A plan to form a joint ethics committee with other regions was discussed along with cross coverage training for lab and x ray staff. Dr Ed Hudson nominated for the Canadian Healthcare Association Award. Union agreement ratified for Manitoba Employees Union Community Support.
April events include TOPS meeting at Rossburn Hospital Conference Room at 7:00 p.m. on the 18th, Seniors Bingo with early bird and regular rounds, and a Power to Change gospel night at the Rossburn Community Hall. Also slated are Lions Club and Agri-Rec Bingo gatherings, a Volunteer Tea, a Golden Wear Clothing event at the Health Centre Dining Room, Ukr People’s Home Bingo, and the First Annual Garlic Tournament of Seniors at the Drop-In Centre from April 23 to 27.
