Mr. and Mrs. H. Huston departed Thursday for a journey to Toronto and Oshawa in Ontario. They will visit friends and sightsee during several days away.
I wish to take this opportunity to thank Dr Layng the hospital staff friends and relatives for their kindness and to all those who sent me cards etc while my stay in the local hospital and a special Thank You to Wm Mitchell for his acts of kindness.
We extend heart felt gratitude to friends neighbors and relatives for acts of kindness and condolences and for floral offerings after the loss of our husband father and grandfather Special thanks to Rev P Romanyshyn and Mr Ronald Kowalchuk for their kindness.
Mrs H Miller visits at the home of Mr and Mrs A Galvin in Churchbridge. Loraine Grenon of Mafeking engaged to teach Grade 1 for the term filling in for Mrs Lorna Veitch from April 1. Mr and Mrs J Cormack returned from Winnipeg with Mrs McFeeters and Mrs R J Alexander who visited relatives in Winnipeg. Mrs Alexander and Mrs Cormack attended the W A and W M S convention. Mr and Mrs C Kester spent the weekend in Wawanesa with Mrs McKnight and Penny. Gordon born to Mr and Mrs D Gordon nee Greta Williamson of Selkirk on Saturday April 2. Mrs Cullen of Rounthwaite visits H McKnight. Mr and Mrs L C Johnston and family visited Campbell at Clear Lake. Mike Barbie and family returned from Winnipeg after a few days away.
Iris Johnson thanks everyone for kindness during recovery from her accident. Special gratitude to Dr Layng and staff and to those who gave rides to the hospital.
Steve Danyleyko thanks the Rossburn Hospital Aid for serving lunch at his auction sale. Special appreciation goes to Mrs. Shorrock Mrs. B Lawless and Mrs. E Caldwell for volunteering. Their efforts helped ensure a successful sale.
In loving memory of our husband and grandfather Alex Dnistransky who died April 3, 1953. Seven years have passed and our hearts remain heavy with sadness. Your cheerful heart spread sunshine and love. We cannot forget you though God took you. Ever remembered by his wife and family.
