Quilting Bees Prepare Comfort Quilts for Local Homes
Members of the Drop-In Centre in Rossburn worked on quilts for residents of the Rossburn District Health Centre Personal Care Home and acute care. Materials came from the Rossburn District Health Centre Auxiliary. Birdtail WJ and Lady of Fatima Manor each made two quilts, the Drop-In Centre completed three quilts at a nominal charge.

Rossburn group seeks funds for seniors handi-van
A Rossburn committee from local organizations raises money to buy a second-hand handi-van for seniors. They sold a school bus to fund the plan and received donations from the Rossburn Ukrainian People's Home and residents. Raising events include a barn sale, bag sale, pay-what-you-can raffle, and recycled card sales to reach about $25 000 to $35 000 with a goal to buy by next year.
