Mrs. Davis Dies of Heart Failure in Oliver District
Mrs Mary Jane Davis aged 64 years 6 months and 10 days died Sunday from heart trouble after a hearty dinner. An early Oliver district settler she leaves Henry Davis her husband one stepdaughter two stepsons including a soldier in France. Funeral services were held at the Anglican church and burial at Rugetown cemetery.

Town Council Minutes from Rosetown Regular Session
