A district court session in the Town Hall last Tuesday and Wednesday, led by Judge Leahy, heard multiple civil matters. Cases included Buxton versus Strand over a misrepresented horse, and North West Land Co against defendants with appearances thin. judgments varied from plaintiff wins to reserved judgments.
A town meeting at the Rosetown Town Hall last Friday launched eight local branches of the Canadian Patriotic Fund. C B Sah Wienes chairs the new body with Rev Hillary as secretary.
