Stock-taking ends with a clearance sale of oranges at 40 cents per dozen. A package deal offers 176 units per case with mixed items. Jam varieties Buchanan strawberry and raspberry advertised at near ninety cents per case of 48 tins.
Rosetown council in a regular session discusses street works accounts and auditor applications. It grants and reads bylaw numbers 77 78 and 79 to third reading, considers hospital account charges, and demands temporary electric light provisions after delays. The meeting adjourns to February 16.
A chilly but well attended event featured a talent show with prizes for under 15 performers and a girls race. Gate receipts reached 63 dollars from 25 cents adult and 10 cents child tickets, benefiting the Hospital Aid lunch counter fund which gathered about 99 dollars.
Rosetown edged Kindersley 3 2 in a fast paced league match. Alder opened scoring for Rosetown, Aseltine and McNeiles added goals, while Ker robert duties ended with two goals for Kindersley as disputed calls and a controversial referee marred the contest.
