A reflective note celebrates memories of old days and friends as the season arrives. The verse contemplates timeless greetings beyond Christmas morning and year’s end, recalling past times and connections.
The Rosetown Municipal Hospital describes a stable funding model using patient fees grants and donations. It urges legacies and wills to create an endowment fund to support indigent care, with leadership from C. E. Comum and A. Senortacn as Chairman and Secretary-Treasurer.
Reeve Walker is again elected chair in Mountain View. Division 2 had no nominations and will hold a future meeting to fill the vacancy. Councilor listings include G. M. Hallen in Division 1, A. J. McMul in Division 3, H. Hickerson in Division 4, Robt. Scabular in Division 5, and A. H. Brewster in Division 6.
The Glen Payne Sunday school closes its season with 34 in attendance and a total collection of 23.65 leaving 15.45 in the treasury. Next year officers elected include Superintendent W T Empey and Assistant Superintendent Eli Shaefer. Mrs Maragg visits Chicago for part of the winter.
The passage notes mid week Fox Bible Study sessions and development of human spiritual nature. It mentions the Rel Crees Society and expresses thanks for services rendered. A sign off from Caseie Satuderin as President Andrew Mitchell See Treas.
The Presbyterian Church announces a song and story service next Sunday at 7 p.m. featuring The Shepherd's Story with choir and pastor prose pieces. Also planned are the Sunday School serious and Young People's Bible Circle starting Sunday at 2:30, plus charity and local events at Rex Theatre and community notices from Turthehead and Rosetown lodges.
True Blue Bible Close gathered at Anglia to honor Mrs. LaMareh for teaching during the year. A five piece silver tea set was presented, with music by Lanceon LaMarsh on piano and Ed LaMarsh on violin. Miss Gussie Saunderson led events, Miss Dore Wilkingon presented, and Earnest Anderson and Andrew Mitchell offered short remarks.
The Hospital Ladies Aid met in the Town Hall on December 7 and elected officers for the year. The treasurer reported receipts and expenditures with net proceeds from the hospital dance, donations, and items purchased for the charity, leaving a balance on hand December 15.
A bowling tourney to support the Patriotic Fund runs Monday December 27 through Friday December 31 at the alleys on Straight Ave. Mr Brownbridge will organize and supply a free Pro setter. Half the receipts go to the Patriotic Fund and the rest to prize money.
Mise Alice Carmichael left on Tuesday for eastern points. William Scrivens is seriously ill with inflammatory rhennation. He was very low on Thursday last week. Pred Abrene left for Ontario to join Mee. Abrona went last week. Orville Minist has been at his homestead for setmetion, has time returned. Watch for particulars next week.
