FCL Viterra deal to sell 17 sites to co-ops
FCL plans a two step transaction to acquire 17 sites from Viterra and then transfer ownership and operations to local retail co-ops. Parkway and FCL will announce final ownership details after Viterra’s sale closes in September. Employees will receive similar terms and customers will be notified of changes and benefits. Co-op networks operate more than 14 centres in Western Canada.

Manitoba Hydro and SaskEnergy disclosed on August 22 a tentative agreement to sell Swan Valley Gas Corporation for 200000 dollars. The Swan River area including Minitonas and Benito would see SVGC assets and about 240 customers move to Manitoba Hydro pending regulator approval.
