Roblin District Pledges 220 80 for Chinese War Relief Fund
Roblin and district again show willingness to aid war-torn China by contributing 220 80 to the Aid to China Relief Fund. The amount includes 15 from a Roblin Bakery lunch held August 14. Grain producers plan to deliver varying amounts of grain to boost the provincial total.

Presentation To Mrs. A. Terry
Mrs. Albert Terry now living in Winnipeg spent a few days with her sister Mrs. G. Aikens in Roblin. Friends presented her an address and a gold wrist watch before her departure on Friday evening. Mr. Albert Terry died in 1941 and the couple moved to Roblin 40 years ago with their children Blanche, Edga and Norris. The Review joins Roblin friends in sending best wishes to Mrs. Terry.

Harvest Delays From Heavy Rains Slow Farm Work
Heavy rains on Monday and Tuesday delayed harvesting operations. A community tea will be held at Brydon's store on Saturday September 4 with supper from five to eight and hot dogs and coffee in the evening. Proceeds go to patriotic purposes.
