Canning Contest Led by Girls in Prairie Province
The T Eaton Co and the Department of Agriculture sponsor a canning contest for girls using the cold pack method. Six Roblin School contestants, Elsie Nelson, Alice Lundy, Florria Donoghue, Huby McNeill, Mary Merrell, and Edith Wainwright, leave Sept 3 for Winnipeg to compete for a silver cup and medals at the Winnipeg Garden Show. A moving picture reel will document the event across Canada as the teams tour and learn.
