Hoblin Village Council Minutes October Meeting

Hoblin village council held October 14 with Reeve presiding and five councillors present. Motions approved last minutes, paid several small bills and salaries, authorized sale of a house for 20 dollars, granted monthly payment to Mrs Sadowick, and adjourned after indemnities and routine business.

Poultry feeding shows gains from milk and corn mix

Experiments at Central Experimental Farm and Kapuskasing Farm show crate feeding with milk and a corn rich ration improves both quantity and quality of poultry flesh. Home grown seeds with corn addition also work where corn cannot be grown, improving efficiency. Local Roblin notes report community events, elections, and a new electric light project progress.
