Roblin’s Scott Cornelius Seizes Fame with Fiddle Wins
Twelve year old Scott Cornelius, active for three and a half years, racked up prizes at events like John Arcand Fiddle Fest and Back to Batoche. He won in multiple age groups, earned People’s Choice awards, released a third CD, and plans guitar and banjo studies while continuing Métis fiddle tradition. He has performed at jamborees, festivals, and radio, with proceeds aiding a Ghana foster child.
