Roblin electoral win for Robertson Independent Coalition

Final returns show Lieut. Ronald Robertson of the Independent Coalition winning Roblin’s provincial seat by a majority of 164 over Sad Leader Les Thompson. Returned Men and Women Entertained in Roblin Reunion

A Thanksgiving Day dinner and dance honored Roblin and district returning men and women veterans of World War I and World War II. Organized by the WMS and Ladies Aid of United Church, with aid from local ladies, the event featured a Knox United church basement banquet, a YPU dance, and music by a local orchestra. Attendees signed a guest book, and the evening closed with Auld Lang Syne and a late-night sendoff.
