A Copenhagen proprietor announces a device that milks and parcels milk into four thin sheets resembling tissue paper. The sheets can be kept and later reconstituted by mixing with water to restore fresh milk for consumption. The invention promises long shelf life for dairy products.

Rev. K S Kern and Minister K Pard announce a 7 PM service on October 21 with Mountains of God Part 2. The sermon theme is Religion amidst changing ideas followed by discussion. A second talk on October 28 asks What need in Human Life does Religion fulfill.
Makaroff United Church holds Harvest Festival Service on Sunday October twenty first at 7 30 p.m conducted by the pastors. The Sacrament of the Lord s Supper will be administered at Deepdale at 2 p.m and at Silverwood at 4 p.m.

Master Norman Dixon visits Mr G Leaters at Jlappy Lake while Mr Lavere Lester calls at Dixon’s on his way home from the West. Mr and Mrs Laurence Maguire return after fall stays with Mr T Dixon. The Boys and Girls Swine Club join Makaroff Club and travel there on Thursday October 18. Mr and Mrs J Johnson and Mr and Mrs Burre visit Mr Joe Redmond on Sunday. District children attend Swine Clubball in Togo on Tuesday Oct 9 and return with prize ribbons. Obituary notes the death of longtime resident Mr Ben Kirkbride of Sivexwond on Oct 12. He was among the district’s first settlers and highly respected.
Notice asks the party who took a coat from a touring car at Deepdale on Friday Oct 13 to return it to Pool Elevator, Deepdale. The finder is asked to get in touch if the party is known and to avoid trouble.
The regular session at Deepdale on October 8 approved financial reports and formed a committee led by N J Kersnel to improve church finances. Four Sundays were set for missionary education March June September and December each year. A missions school will be organized at Makaroff and possibly at Deepdale and Silverwood.
A party hosted by the Arma date boys on September 26 in Ing leton to honor the marriage of Charles Ingleton of Roblin Manitoba to Mary E. Buston widow of Thomas Burton of New Ontario. About fifty to sixty guests, dancing, games, lunch, and speeches followed by a carved gift.
Dr Yoervor and Dantel will be in Togo Theaday and Wednesday October 23 and 24 at the Drug store for a public appearance and health information event.
