The Assessment Roll for 1935 is deposited at Roblin office and open until October 31. Complaints must be lodged ten days before the Court of Revision. Mrs Holmes of Calgary visits sister Mrs Gilhooly while Mr Clifford Wood spends the long weekend at the parental home in Fox Warren. Mr Pound the municipal auditor conducted a semi annual audit of the Shellouth Municipal Poors. Accidents involving stock on highways rise with two incidents last week, including a car colliding with two cattle leading to their fatality and heavy damage to the car. On Thursday night John Craig struck a horse, his truck damaged and McLeod and Armitage from Hardy Plant Nursery required surgical treatment in Russell.

Mrs J Mitchell hosted a small gathering at the Hermitage in honor of Mrs L Hornsby during a Bean Supper at Tummel Hall on October 24. Mrs McEwan, visiting Winnipeg friends, has returned home. Mrs Adams and daughter Mrs L Hornsby of Vancouver BC also return after a week in Winnipeg. Miss Mary Robin, longtime with her aunt Mrs Cochrane in Silverton Manitoba, has returned home.
