The Roblin United Church hosts anniversary services at 11 am and 7 pm with guest speaker Rev. A B Baird of Winnipeg. Special music by the choir. Minister conducts services at Tummel and Bisld.
Mary Edna Porter of Killarney married Reynard Porteous of Roblin at Christ Church The Pas with Rev D L Green officiating. The couple attended by A Burne Porteous and other relatives planned a luncheon at Porteous home and will reside in Rochdale after a brief Winnipeg trip. A Roblin wedding followed for Gladys Irene Cooper to John Graham Macleod with ceremony by Rev C S Matchett.

Sealed tenders addressed to the Department of Public Works Ottawa for a Roblin Manitoba Public Building will be received until 12 noon on Tuesday November 3 1886. Plans and specifications available at the Chief Architect Ottawa and Winnipeg offices and Roblin Post Office. Tender must follow department forms and include 10 percent security via certified cheque or guaranteed bonds. Deposit for blueprints $10 refundable on return within a month. Secretary J M Sommerville dates October 10 1956.
